We are very happy to share that 58 secondary French students (both immersion and core) from 6 secondary schools in our board challenged the DELF exam in April. The interest in the DELF continues to grow from our first years offering the test.

The DELF exam is a standardized French exam that tests listening, oral, reading and writing skills and if successful, students earn an internationally recognized level of proficiency.
This year the DELF exam was held over three days in the seminar rooms at Northwestern Elementary/Secondary School in Stratford. We had 12 students challenge level B2, 28 students challenging the B1 exam and 22 students challenging the level A2 exam.
Many thanks are extended to to the staff and students at Northwestern for allowing DELF 2014 to take over their library seminar rooms for the final three days in April.
The Avon Maitland District School Board offers the DELF each spring to all interested Core and Immersion French students.
